White Oak Intermediate welcomes children’s author, Sharon Ellsberry. Ms. Ellsberry of Athens, Texas, has authored five children’s books in the Spaniel Family Books Series. In all of her stories, she weaves the threads of childhood fantasies and the joy of being with animals. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her books have been honored at the North Texas Book Festival as a finalist in the Children’s Book Awards, suggested for the master reading list for the Texas Bluebonnet Awards, and awarded the Dove Foundation’s seal twice.

Students may select to purchase from three of her publications.  Book orders that WERE returned by Thursday, January 28th, will be autographed copies. These order forms have already been sent home with your student.
