This past week students were asked to bring dimes to help raise funds for the East Texas Down’s Syndrome Organization. This fund raiser was a project presented by A. Garrett, a fourth grade student who has a friend with Down’s Syndrome. Student donations were collected, and this young philanthropist was able to present a check in the amount of $507.94 to the organization.  Way to go White Oak for once again showing you care!
