Online Registration opens today (July 23, 2018) for returning students. Online Registration must be completed before teacher placement/schedules will be given at In Person Registration. At least one parent must attend In Person Registration for Intermediate and Primary students on Thursday, August 2 (8:30 am – 5:00 pm). In Person Registration will be much quicker if all steps of Online Registration are completed for each student before In Person Registration.
For those who don’t have access to a computer to complete Online Registration, computers will be available at In Person Registration.
With registration beginning tomorrow for returning students, we would like to point out the link to the 2018-2019 Student Handbook on the sidebar of our campus blog. There are a few changes that parents will need to note. ALL WALKERS (Primary and Intermediate) will be loaded onto a bus and taken to the crosswalk guard located in front of the auditorium between the high school and middle school. The guard will walk ALL WALKERS across the street where parents can pick them up in the parking lot at that location. Parents will not be allowed to take students from the walker line on the intermediate campus. There will be major construction taking place this year which will increase the number of construction machinery, vehicles, and hired construction workers. Student safety is a top priority.
We urge parents to read the entire handbook and become familiar with its guidelines.
Parents may access their student’s STAAR test results by going to http://www.texasassessment.com/ and entering the student’s UAC (unique access code) and birthdate.
Click on “Log in to Student Portal“. Once you have accessed the Portal, click on “Look Up Access Code“.
You will be asked to enter your child’s First Name, PEIMS ID (Social Security No. no spaces), and Birthdate.
Paper copies will be sent to school districts at a later date.
FYI: As of a few minutes ago, I received the following response from TEA as to why student scores were not posted as of yet:
Yes, the score rollout begins today for grades 3-8. The vendor has until the very end of the day to post the scores, so please keep checking back with the website into the late afternoon and evening. They definitely should be posted by early AM tomorrow. Thank you.”
Let’s start our last day of school off right by wishing Mrs. Ummel a very Happy Birthday! If you pass her today in the hallway, be sure to greet her with a smile and good wishes for a great day.
