We can’t wait to see what walks through the doors.
There are some teachers whose name you can just mention and scores of past and present students know exactly of whom you speak. Mary Underwood is one of those teachers. She is a White Oak icon for sure, and today she celebrates her birthday. Do not let this day pass by without letting her know how much she means to White Oak ISD. We wish you the Happiest of Birthdays, “Mrs. Coach” Mary Underwood.
The entries were amazing. The number of participants was up from every previous year. The attendees were engaged. All in all, Best Reading Fair Ever! Thank you, parents, for your enthusiastic support for these student and family projects.

Beginning Monday morning, December 4, 2017, Roughneck Drive will be reduced to one lane in front of the football stadium. Two lane operation will resume at the end of the Home Side Bleachers. Temporary fencing will be in place to designate the construction site. This is necessary to allow for the construction zone at the new Field House Site. This traffic pattern will remain in place until September of 2018.
We have included an image of the traffic pattern for your benefit. It can also be viewed on the main page of the district’s website, www.woisd.net.
White Oak ISD would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this time of district improvement projects.
We are proud of our White Oak Intermediate staff and students for busting out in blue attire. Today we battle together for Brock Gumm. Our love and support go out to this brave, young man and his family.
