I was confronted with an incident over the Christmas break that reinforced to me the importance of staying diligent when it comes to technology use and our children.  Some of my grandchildren were staying with me during the holiday (I have 11 grandchildren with one on the way!)  The oldest two cousins are 8 year old boys and the next two cousins are 6 year old girls.  They were all on devices playing Minecraft. The girls came in to report that the boys had downloaded Add-ons that may not have been appropriate. We had to have a conversation about how we should follow the guidelines set up by our parents, even when they are not around.
