Controlling the Sickness at School

During the last two days, there have been numerous reports of sick students.  Some students have experienced symptoms such as high fever, cough, headaches, body aches, and upset stomach.   Some students who have been taken to the doctor have been diagnosed with confirmed flu and strep.  The school is taking extra precautions with:
  •  cleaning and disinfecting
  • increased focus on hand washing and sanitizing
  • frequent reminders of how to cough (into your elbow) to reduce the risk of spreading germs
  • frequent reminders to not share drinks, food, pencils that have been in other’s mouths, etc.
Parents, please help us control the spreading of these viruses by keeping sick students home until they are free of all fever for 24 hours.  We appreciate your support.
